Borough Market is now open for trading on Thursdays from 11am until 5pm. For Food Lovers who weary of the Friday or Saturday crowds, Thursday afternoons are perfect for enjoying leisurely, discerning shopping in the market, with the time and space to talk to the traders and sample their produce.

Whilst there are fewer stalls at Borough on Thursdays than at the weekend, there is still an impressive variety of food from olive oils personally sourced from Italy, wild boar and pheasant pies to handmade chocolate truffles. It is advisable to bring a strong shopping bag or trolley and if you�re not familiar with the produce or how to cook it, ask the stallholders for advice; they�ll be delighted to make culinary suggestions.
