Macao, Special Administrative Region of the Peoples Republic of China - The rap-metal band, LMF broke up in 2003, and reunited seven years later. LMF will have their debut performance at CotaiArena at The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel on April 24, 2010. Tickets on sale.
LMF stands for Lazy Mutha Fucka, originally founded in 1999 and comprised of several individual bands from Hong Kong. Their music is best described as a coherent mix of thrash metal, hip-hop and other various elements. Their performance is very unique and breaks the traditional norms. Their lyrics express the discontent of the grass-roots level. Furthermore, the influence of LMF is not only in music, but it stretches to the cultural trends which the young people follow.
Due to the use of foul language in their lyrics, the songs of LMF provoked immediate controversy and attention. Despite this, they were well supported not only by Hong Kong and Macao fans, but also fans from the Chinese community in Southeast Asia. Their lyrics reflected what they saw and heard in society, but the foul language was not well received by the general public, hence the band broke up in 2003. In November 2009, seven years later, LMF announced their reunion and kicked off their world tour.
