The Holy Crab - A Louisiana Inspired Restaurant of Seafood Delicacies Takes on Bali

The Holy Crab Bali

Bali, INDONESIA – Following the overwhelming success of his Jakarta based eatery, Albert Wijaya, Executive Chef and Owner of The Holy Crab has decided to bring this hip seafood restaurant to the culinary scene of Bali.

The Holy Crab will open its doors on 14th January 2015 right on Bali's most happening dining stretch in Petitenget, Seminyak. With easy access and a spacious parking area, this cozy two-storey venue promises a Louisiana-style ambiance infused with the classic southern hospitality and a cheeky nautical look to take seafood dining to an entirely new level.

“I am very excited about the opening of our second restaurant after only just one year of operating in Jakarta. There has been such a great response to The Holy Crab from food lovers in Jakarta that we are bringing the whole concept and experience to Bali. It has always been a dream of mine to be a part of Bali's culinary scene that has a broader international audience. The restaurant will have 150 seats and we will continue to implement The Holy Crab's three main elements, namely a wide variety of seafood, our signature homemade sauce and our unique serving style,” says Albert Wijaya, Executive Chef and Owner, The Holy Crab.

“The combination of world-class seafood and traditional Louisiana cooking techniques together with a chic yet comfortable dining vibe are just some of the key factors that will set The Holy Crab apart. The choice of seafood that we offer will range from your everyday-affordable local selections to imported exotic crabs, ensuring that our menu can be enjoyed for all occasions,” Albert continues. “The whole dining experience at The Holy Crab is fun and exciting. Every order arrives at the table in a massive plastic bag doused in the restaurant's signature sauce. There are no plates or utensils, only shellfish crackers and shell openers are provided, so everyone must be prepared to get their hands dirty,” says Albert with a laugh.

The Holy Crab will launch in Bali under the Ersons Foods umbrella, which already has four restaurant brands in Jakarta and is continuing to grow. Their main objective is to continuously create unforgettable dining experiences for culinary enthusiasts and seafood aficionados.

The Holy Crab is committed to consistency in its delivery of high quality tastes and warm hospitality in a family-friendly environment. The restaurant will open daily from 17:00 - 23.00 and the bar will open daily from 17:00 – 24:00.
