Ricky�s river bar + restaurant will launch its summer menu to eager diners today. The Ricky�s menu, written by talented chef Marc Wohner, reflects the best produce the season has to offer, and will be perfect for the burgeoning summer holiday months that are quickly approaching.

Since the reopening of Ricky�s in July of this year, the young and enthusiastic team have created a thriving business in the stunningly renovated premises on the banks of the Noosa River and reaffirmed Ricky�s as a favourite with locals and tourists alike. The Modern Australian menu continues to herald simple well executed dishes, boasting something to suit everyone, including a popular children�s menu. Summer additions include a �crispy kingfish with pickled cucumber salad and red curry sauce,� �char-grilled spatchcock, Israeli cous cous, pear, figs, elderflower and mandarin dressing� and a �White rum panna cotta with caramelized mango�.

The restaurant�s two signature dishes; �King prawn spaghettini with lemon, chilli, garlic, flat leaf parsley and olio bello chilli oil� and �Passion fruit souffl� with passion fruit sorbet� remain intrinsic to the menu, both favourites with regular Ricky�s clientele.

Pascal Turschwell, co-owner of Ricky�s is delighted with the response received since reopening in July:

�We are overwhelmed with the positive response we have received, we have welcomed old regulars and new customers to Ricky�s over the past four months and thank everyone for their support of the restaurant,� he says. The Ricky�s team also play host to a popular weekly event � The Wine Sessions, for both locals and holiday makers to enjoy. The Wine Sessions, held every Thursday from 5pm to 8pm are a fun and educational evening where diners can further hone their wine tasting skills.

With the end of the year quickly approaching the Ricky�s team have designed a special end of year celebration menu, perfect for entertaining clients or a group of friends, while New Year�s Eve will encompass two sittings to please both families and those wanting to party the night away.
