Christmas 2008 sees the launch of a dark chocolate advent calendar the very first dark chocolate Fairtrade calendar on the market! Two new flavours of boxed chocolates are also launching this season making Divine the perfect choice for giving and sharing, celebrating and indulging.

And from 1st December you can buy Divine gift combinations at our very own website: www.divinechocolateshop.com. A range of gift selections will be available to purchase online making Divine online the perfect place to stock up on chocolate treats this Christmas.

LAST CHANCE BEFORE 1st DECEMBER! Launched this year in response to huge customer demand, the Divine Dark Chocolate Advent Calendar features Divines award-winning 70% dark chocolate. Both the dark and milk chocolate calendars feature a richly-coloured scene inspired by the bustling market in Kumasi the biggest open air market in West Africa and the story of the nativity. The Christmas tree at the heart of the market scene is decorated with golden Adinkra symbols, the traditional emblems of West Africa, and their meanings are explained on the reverse of the calendar. The illustration was designed by Helen Mills and comes in a brown version for the milk chocolate calendar and a black version for the dark chocolate calendar. Behind each window is a heart shaped piece of Divine chocolate and with two flavour options to choose from, both milk and dark chocolate fans will be content!

The Divine product range is continually expanding and this year sees even more exciting developments because Divine is celebrating its 10th anniversary! All the tempting Divine products described above are made using only the finest cocoa beans from smallholder farmers in Ghana. 45,000 farmers across the country, who belong to the Kuapa Kokoo co-operative, supply all Divines high quality cocoa and cocoa butter and because the entire Divine range is Fairtrade certified, they are guaranteed a fairer and more empowering deal. As the farmers also own a 45% stake in the business this means they contribute to the running of the company and share in the profits.
