The Queen of Finos, HARVEYS FINO has just been awarded a Royal Warrant; when a fino sherry is served in the Royal Household, it will be HARVEYS.
Now available in an elegant new half-size bottle, award-winning* Harveys Fino is a refreshingly crisp, dry sherry, which makes a sophisticated, delicious alternative to white wine as an aperitif. Its diminutive new size makes it ideal for a picnic hamper and gives you the perfect excuse to try out dry sherry for the first time!
Whether eating light alfresco dishes, such as sushi, smoked salmon, spicy prawns, salads with vinaigrette, carpaccio of mackerel, Serrano ham or hard cheeses or salted nuts, Harveys Fino will complement them all.
Waitrose wine buyer, Nick Room MW, offers some expert advice: If youre looking for inspiration for what to serve at a drinks party this summer, try out Harveys Fino dry Sherry. It tastes delicious and is the ideal accompaniment to savoury canaps, such as smoked fish, olives, egg and chorizo sausage. It is now available to buy at 150 Waitrose stores.
This sophisticated sherry, created over a period of several years by the traditional solera system, derives from the Palomino grapes selected from the sun soaked vineyards of Jerez de la Frontera near the South West coast of Spain. Pale straw in colour, Harveys Fino is bright and clean to the taste and with almond aromas.
Harveys Fino tastes best served well chilled (5-7 C) in a wine glass, and, like a white wine, keep it refrigerated after opening to guarantee finesse and freshness. Consume within a week.
Stockist: Harveys Fino RRP 6.99 (50cl), available exclusively at Waitrose (150 stores nationwide)
