Speciality Desserts Ltd, the Northants supplier of innovative hot and cold frozen desserts to the food service market, has significantly increased its management strength with a series of senior appointments.
Managing Director Doug Chapman has assembled a team of hand-picked executives with blue-chip experience across commercial and technical disciplines in order to service the product development needs of an impressive customer base ranging across Pub / restaurant, hotel and coffee shop groups including P&O Ferries, Greene King Breweries Ltd & Thistle Hotel Group.
The company moved into new customised BRC grade A premises earlier this year and the appointment of Factory Manager Dean Whitehouse, a trained food hygiene and HACCP auditor with 18 years production experience will guarantee a highly efficient operation that maintains the company�s reputation for high quality.
Paul Lackie, Development Chef, will assist the development team headed by Nigel Cave in driving the company�s programme for providing innovative, trendsetting products, often in response to specific customer requests. Typically the development of a new product takes as little as a week, from brief through to tasting. Paul brings 9 years experience to the team, gained with quality rosette and five-star establishments both in the UK and Europe.
Chris Tedor� is the face that most customers will see. As National Account Development Manager, Business Studies and Marketing graduate Chris has a background with such well respected industry brands such as Ginsters and major market players, for example Northern Foods.
These appointments add to the management team that Managing Director Doug Chapman believes offers customers a premier division line-up.
