A. Kalkman Ltd, one of the United Kingdom�s fastest growing value added fish processing companies recently announced the launch of its Captains Choice range.
The first in a range of products to be launched under the Captains Choice brand is Breaded Seafood Platter, which will be followed in the near future by both Lemon Sole and Plaice Goujons. Captains Choice sees a widening of their current product range with improvements to the coating system as well as only using skinless, boneless fish.
As specialist suppliers of frozen seafood and a wide variety of added value products designed especially for the catering and food service market, this is the first new brand from the company since they were taken over by the Sam Cole Group in 2004. �We knew we were purchasing into one of the UK�s most recognised processing plants, but also realised it needed investment and new impetus. Kalkman�s improved Breaded Seafood Platter is ideal for retailers as well as the catering and food service industry. The platter includes a delicious selection of flat fish, white fish fillet, scallops and scampi, in a coating of light and crispy breadcrumbs.
