Garfish Manly, opened on the 16th of October and located on the corner of East Esplanade and Wentworth Streets in Manly, is the third in the Garfish group, and the latest venture from founders Mark Dickey and Mark Scanlan.

Again using Landini Associates, the design combines the original Garfish brand with Manly beach style. The room has natural stone and timber finishes and boasts a large atrium with floor to ceiling stack back windows. The design offers stunning harbour views and provides an al fresco feeling without being too exposed to the elements.

Garfish Manly offers a relaxed yet professional meeting and dining destination. Garfish Kirribilli and Crows Nest are well known for their �have your fish the way you wish� blackboard options. Garfish Manly will offer this and more, with the addition of a wood fired oven. Roasting crustacean and seafood in this unique style will subtly enhance the high quality produce with a gentle smoke flavour.

Seating 130, the restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days. It has a drink or dine license and a relaxed bar area for after work cocktails or pre dinner drinks. A welcome addition is a private dining room with an option of menus, seating 35 people.

Four plasma screens are placed strategically around the restaurant allowing guests to watch a series of scrolling images: live kitchen action, integrated software fish facts information, the view into Manly harbour; and the inside of the wood roasting oven.

Executive Chef Stewart Wallace and General Manager Jenni Heads once again run the operation, taking some seasoned professionals from the current restaurants to make it a strong opening team. They are aiming to attract a loyal local following and believe the combination of signature dishes such as Snapper Pie and Kingfish Curry, as well as the interesting wood roasted crustaceans will be sure to do this. The healthy nature of the menu, along with mid market pricing and friendly professional service, has a synergy with the Manly lifestyle; and will guarantee that Garfish Manly will become a popular dining choice.
