Springs approaching and mornings are becoming lighter. Its time to rethink the most important meal of the day - breakfast. The power breakfast is no longer the preserve of The City or West End hotels. Award-winning purveyors of traditional British fare Fuzzys Grub would like to introduce you to its new waitress service British Breakfast at Fuzzys Grub, Crown Passage, in St Jamess. Launching on 19 February its set to be one of the best breakfasts in London. Bridging the gap between the fine dining over-priced hotel breakfasts and the get-what-you-pay-for fry ups at the local caf, Fuzzys Grub brings you a lovingly prepared and reasonably priced British Breakfast. In keeping with Fuzzys Grub concept of serving traditional British home cooking at its best, using only the finest ingredients, breakfast features premium smoked back-bacon, free range eggs and succulent handmade gourmet sausages from Musks of Suffolk; sausage makers to the Royal Family.
The menu includes proper doorstep toast, muffins and crumpets with English butter and a selection of traditional spreads and preserves; Eggs Benedict (made with Fuzzys Grub home-roast ham) and Eggs Florentine (both from 3.50) and Porridge made with traditional Scottish oats and served with hot milk, honey and raisins (2). Traditional English breakfasts include:
St Jamess Full English Breakfast (6.75) Sausage, bacon, black pudding, eggs (any way), vine tomatoes, Portobello mushrooms, baked beans, hash browns, toast, tea or coffee.
Pall Mall Light English Breakfast (5.50) Sausage, bacon, eggs, vine tomatoes, baked beans, hash browns, toast tea or coffee.
King Street Vegetarian Breakfast (4.50) Eggs, baked beans, Portobello mushrooms, hash browns, vine tomatoes, toast, tea or coffee.
Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 11:30 Monday to Friday. A more concise takeaway breakfast menu is available at all five Fuzzys Grub outlets but seating is only available at Fuzzys Grub, Crown Passage (just off St Jamess).
Fuzzys Grub is a unique premium British caf concept founded by friends Fuzzy (Fazila Collins) and Grub (Georgina Laing), providing the best of British home cooking for the Capitals busy workers. The four City sites are take away only, Crown Passage is the first Fuzzys Grub with seats. Named Best for Traditional British (food) by Hardens 2007 Guide, above some of Londons top restaurants, Fuzzys Grub has been the premier purveyor of home roast meats and traditional British fare for the past four years. Their infamous Sunday Lunch in a sandwich has become legendary amongst City workers who flock to the shops on Cornhill, Masons Avenue, Bow Lane, Fleet Street and in St. Jamess.
