A range of pork pies, hodge podge puddings, bacon, charcuterie, oat cakes, jams, marmalades and chutneys can now be purchased, when featured on the menu, from the award winning Kingham Plough in the Cotswolds which is run by chef/proprietor Emily Watkins.
The range was launched at a recent farmers market held by the Plough which served as a thank you for its key suppliers for their support and a chance to highlight the provenance of local produce to customers which Emily features on menus in descriptions such as Alans beans.
Emily cut her teeth at the Fat Duck in Bray under the watchful eye of Heston Blumenthal. Signature dishes include the crispy duck egg and slow cooked steak amongst many in a menu that changes daily.
