With wine and food being a part of everyday life in Hawke�s Bay it is no surprise that there are many culinary events on the calendar.

Throughout the year the Hawke�s Bay Farmers Markets takes place every Saturday morning in Napier on Tennyson Street and Sunday morning at the Showgrounds in Hastings while spring-summer markets are also held at Black Barn Vineyard in Havelock North on Saturday mornings.

This is New Zealand's only regional wine awards, entries are restricted to wines with at least 85% Hawke's Bay fruit.
