Beer Brand Brings Genuine Sauce Range to the UK

Summer is upon us, which means its time to grab a cold beer and fire up the barbecue. Budweiser is building on the tasty tradition of combining barbecue and beer with a new line of Budweiser Genuine Sauces, which include three barbecue sauces, two wing sauces and a marinade. The sauces and marinade all feature Budweiser beer as a key ingredient and are on shelves now at leading supermarkets, just in time for the summer season.

Creator, Chef Brent Wertz said Budweisers great taste and refreshing character was our inspiration for the Budweiser Genuine Sauces and we upheld Budweisers tradition of using only the finest ingredients in the recipes.

The Budweiser sauces are available in Harrods, ASDA, Morrisons, Sainsburys, Somerfield and Tesco. The sauces are available in 400g bottles and retail at £2.49.

The Budweiser sauce recipes were created by a team led by Executive Chef Brent Wertz, at Anheuser-Buschs Kingsmill Resort and Spa in Virginia, USA in conjunction with Anheuser-Busch brewmasters and Vita Food Products, Inc.

Creator, Chef Brent Wertz added, A cold Budweiser is the perfect partner for the smoky flavour of barbecue. The premium lager complements a variety of spicy, tangy or sweet tastes, which enhances the experience of enjoying beer and food together.
