Chobani Greek Yogurt Rolls Out Local Production With Australian Milk

Seven delicious flavours of authentic strained Greek yogurt now available nation-wide

Chobani Greek Yogurt is delighted to announce the roll-out of locally-produced, authentic strained Greek yogurt, using Australian milk. Available on supermarket shelves nationally, Chobani is now being produced from its Melbourne-based plant in Dandenong.

In addition, the deliciously thick, creamy yogurt people in NSW and Victoria have come to love is available to all Australians, with Woolworths, Coles and independent grocery stores across the country now ranging Chobani.

"Australian dairy is of the highest quality and Australians have a passion for great-tasting food. Ever since we brought Chobani to Australia, we have been working to expand our local operations and can now proudly say that Chobani is completely Australian made. We are thrilled to bring this authentic strained yogurt, made with only natural ingredients, to Australians everywhere," said Peter Meek, Managing Director of Chobani.

Chobani is handcrafted using a centuries-old authentic strained technique and contains only natural ingredients. It is this unique process that makes each pot of delicious Chobani thick, creamy and packed with protein.

Accredited Practising Dietitian and Communications Coordinator for Chobani, Emily Houlahan says Chobani yogurt provides the perfect combination of nutrition and taste.

"Foodies and health experts alike are welcoming Chobani into their shopping trolleys each week for a number of reasons. It is a delicious tasting yogurt and being made with an authentic straining technique gives it an advantage from a nutritional perspective," Emily Houlahan said.

Chobani is now available in Woolworths, Coles and independent grocery stores nationally for $1.99/170g RRP and comes in a variety of 170g flavours: Peach (fat free), Blueberry (fat free), Strawberry (fat free), Mango (98% fat free), Passion Fruit (98% fat free), and Pineapple (98% fat free).
