Ken O�Connell, Vidal Winery�s Executive Chef has won the coveted 2008 Chef of the Year title at the New Zealand Culinary Fare which was held in conjunction with the Hospitality NZ show. As well as the kudos in winning the title Ken also receives over $8,000.00 worth of prizes and an invitation to be one of the chefs at the Feast Dinner, a major New Zealand Culinary event in 2009. Ken commented, �I was totally exhausted after three days of competition and was completely overwhelmed when the winner was announced.
