“Fresh foods are not meant to last forever.” says chef Anup Arora, creator of SpiceVine. “Our marinades and relishes are supposed to be eaten when the flavours are still vibrant.”
The award winning SpiceVine range was inspired by Anup's background growing up in India and the Middle East, as well as his passion for creating new flavours. 'My aim is to create complex blends of flavours that are simple to use. I want busy people, or people who are not accustomed to using spices in their cooking, to be able to craft delectable, nourishing and interesting meals at home.'
Family-owned company SpiceVine prides itself on using fresh herbs and produce with minimal processing and NO preservatives, additives, colourings or flavourings. Anup is adamant that his products be as fresh and raw as possible.
As a mark of their freshness, all SpiceVine products are a refrigerated product and they will keep for up to six weeks. In particular, the unique packaging of the marinades – nominated as a finalist in the 2013 and 2014 Food Magazine Awards – ensures they maintain their vivid flavour and aroma.
“Our products are handcrafted in small batches to ensure the integrity of the ingredients and the quality of the flavour.” and SpiceVine marinades really do pack a powerful punch: one 180g sachet is enough to marinate 1kg to 1.5 kg of meat, vegetables, seafood, etc.
“Life is too short not to enjoy what you do,” says Anup, “I'm doing what I love, and I hope I'm bringing people a product they love too!”
SpiceVine products are available fresh from grower's markets around Sydney, select NSW retailers and online at www.spicevine.com.au
