Ross & Ross Food

This week Ross & Ross Food celebrated their 5th Birthday by hosting a pop up evening for 60 friends and suppliers who have helped them get to where they are today.

Ross & Ross Food was started by Ross Whitmill and Ross Bearman who had been working at Le Petit Blanc, Malmaison, Paxton & Whitfield and Peach Pub Company. With experience of working in the fine food industry for over 15 years, they set up Ross & Ross Food following their passion for British food, charcuterie and traditional artisan methods.

They set up their fine food business in Chipping Norton in November 2011, producing award winning Pate and Terrines for the likes of Harrods and Daylesford Organic to small independent delis. Ross & Ross Food now specialise in Handmade British Foodie gifts and local Wedding and Event catering. Their ethos is always to use high quality produce, source seasonal ingredients and support fellow artisan producers. They supply food products to National retailers and are one the best-selling food partners on Not on The High Street. Over the past five years, they have received an array of regional and national awards for their gifts, catering and business growth.

To celebrate their special birthday, they 'popped up' in the showroom of Stone & Wood Tiles on Worcester Road Trading Estate. Guests were treated to four courses including a mussel, saffron and cod broth, beetroot & burrata salad, fillet of beef with fondant potatoes and seasonal greens and to finish, salted caramel chocolate pots.

One of our guests for the evening, Charlotte Boston from Cornwell Manor, commented on the evening: “Another triumph from Ross & Ross! Fantastic food as always, thank you. Congratulations on five years in the trade, here's to the next five. We are so looking forward to working with you at our events next year and beyond!” Ross & Ross Food are a preferred supplier to Cornwell Manor and are set to cater for their 20 weddings next year. The company also work with seven other wedding venues across the Cotswolds.

Reflecting on the past five years, Ross Bearman, co-director said: “Looking out and seeing everyone who has helped us reach this special milestone was a real honour. Ross & I wanted to thank everyone for their support, enthusiasm and advice over the past five years and we thought a birthday feast would be perfect. We have some exciting ideas for the next few years and are looking forward to what 2017 brings.”

Ross & Ross Food are busy preparing gifts in the run up to Christmas and are in the middle of their winter pop up series. You can next catch them at their Christmas pop up at Oxleaze Barn, near Lechlade on 15th December.
