Sydney, AUSTRALIA – July 2016 – This July, Nespresso Business Solutions introduces the Aguila 220 to satisfy evolving demands in the out-of-home market. With a smaller footprint and the same pioneering technology as the Nespresso Aguila 420 launched in 2012, the Aguila 220 was developed to meet the specific needs of hotels and restaurants whilst also satisfying the demands for offices. 

As consumers become more knowledgeable and discerning about their coffee choices, a superior coffee offering can be a means of differentiation for hotels and restaurants. In true Nespresso fashion, the high-performance Aguila 220 helps professionals consistently achieve excellent coffee without the need for a barista.  The new machine also offers convenient operation and simple maintenance, which is greatly valued by hotels and restaurants with high staff turnover and minimal time for upkeep.

With a compact, sleek and durable design, the new machine offers an unmatched choice of one-touch gourmet recipes for exceptional coffee moments. The new Aguila+ function gives operators convenient access to 12 pre-programmed recipes at the touch of a button, to deliver the perfect cup of coffee every time and provide variety to customers. Its robust brewing unit, and two extraction heads make it possible for 2,000-4,000 cups of coffee to be served a month, satisfying the market need for high volumes of exceptional coffee.  

Key features of the Aguila 220 include:

- One-touch buttons allow simple selection of beverages from an espresso to a cappuccino to a flat white

- 12 hot and cold pre-programmed recipes accessible with the Aguila+ function

- Two extraction heads, allowing simultaneous and fast beverage preparation

- Milk temperature sensor and alarm for precise monitoring

- Milk foam electronic setting to increase user convenience and ensure consistent foam quality

- Integrated fridge with milk container refrigerated at 4°C for 5L of milk

- Direct water connection with external filter

- Semi-automatic daily cleaning

- Two spacious cup storage plates, one heated

- Two energy saving settings when the machine is not in use;  mode 1 saves 50% of energy and mode 2 allows 95% energy saving
