Christmas Cocktail: Appleton Estate Hot Buttered Rum 

Ingredients:

• 50ml Appleton Estate Signature Blend
• 150ml Apple Juice
• 20ml Lime Juice
• 20ml Velvet Falernum
• Cinnamon stick 
• Nutmeg

Add the cinnamon stick and apple juice into a microwavable container and warm for 1.5mins. Pour the Appleton Estate, Velvet Falernum and lime juice into a cup. Top with the apple juice mixture and stir. Garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg.

Buffalo Trace

Buffalo Trace Straight Kentucky Bourbon is the flagship bourbon for the most awarded distillery in the world. Handcrafted using the finest Kentucky and Indiana corn, selected rye and superior malted barley, it is aged in new American oak barrels from 8 to 12 years.

Serve neat, Buffalo Trace delivers a rich and complex flavour. Hints of vanilla, toffee and candied fruit are present, coupled with a long, lush finish that lingers on the palate. Alternatively, add a simple mixer, create a classic cocktail or use in a more innovative serve for Bourbon at its best.

Silent Pool Gin

Colonel Fox Gin

The London Dry Gin is produced by Charles Maxwell, owner of Thames Distillery. Made from a classic London Dry recipe, just six botanicals are deemed essential to the flavouring of Colonel Fox's London Dry Gin, produced using traditional methods. Juniper from Italy, Bitter Orange peel sourced from Morocco (gives freshness), Cassia bark (produces an aromatic spice), Angelica root (helps to make the gin dry), Coriander seed (releases lemon and a peppery finish) and Liquorice root, which gives sweetness and a creamy mouth feel.

Christmas Cocktail: Colonel Fox G&T

A classic G&T served with Colonel Fox London Dry Gin. Fruity and well balanced, dominated by juniper, spice and citrus fruit.

Gentleman Badger Sloe Gin

Gentleman Badger's Sloe Gin is a result of macerating the finest sloe berries in high strength Colonel Fox's Gin. Produced in small batches of 1000 bottles per production run from 500litre John Dore Pot stills, with a Maceration Time of 12 to 15hrs.

• 20ml lemon

• 20ml sugar

• Top with soda

Merlet Soeurs Cerises

Merlet et Fils launch their interpretation of the classic liqueur – cherry brandy. The recipe has been designed to invigorate classic cocktails as well as lending innovation and flavour. Soeurs Cerises is made from a selection of cherry varieties, predominantly Morello, chosen for their wide range of aromas and flavours.

Christmas Cocktail: Singapore Sling

Ingredients:

25ml Merlet Soeurs Cerises
45ml London dry gin
20ml Lemon juice
7.5ml Bénédictine
1 Barspoon Kirsch
Soda water

Method:

Measure ingredients into a mixing tin and add ice. Shake vigorously for proper chill and dilution. Strain into a chilled highball glass. Top with soda water. Garnish with a lemon twist and cherry.

Merlet Café Cognac

Merlet Café Cognac is a blend of the finest Cognac infused with 100% Arabica Brazilian coffee extract, with a touch of sugar, creating a luxurious liqueur. Café Cognac is undeniably sophisticated as the Cognac gives a round, smooth and long finish, alongside the rich coffee, spices, vanilla, and a touch of cocoa, which makes it almost too easy to drink.

Christmas Cocktail: Merlet C2 Espresso Martini

Ingredients:

• 40ml Merlet Brothers Blend
• 15ml Merlet C2 Café Cognac
• 10ml Sugar syrup
(or to taste)
• 1 shot of Espresso
• Coffee bean for garnish

Method:

Combine the Brothers Blend, C2 Café Cognac, sugar syrup and espresso in a cocktail shaker filled with cubed ice, shake hard and single strain in a rocks glass. Serve and decorate with a coffee bean.
