Father & child cooking class on June 15 ahead of
hearty set menu for dads on June 16
(Hong Kong) - Sons and daughters are being invited to treat their dads to a cooking class at Morton's of Chicago on the day before celebrating Father's Day at the iconic steakhouse, Morton's of Chicago at The Sheraton Hong Kong.
Priced at HKD1,188*, the class on Saturday, June 15, from 11:30am - 2pm is teaching fathers and one child how to prepare a 3-course menu of signature Morton's dishes.
They are being taught the secrets of Shrimp Alexander and Center Cut Iceberg appetizers followed by Morton's Prime Burger for dad and Prime Miniature Cheeseburger for his child, with Chocolate Mousse completing the class on a sumptuous sweet note.
After preparing the menu, the family team can enjoy the results of their combined efforts - and dads are also rewarded with a complementary chef's apron, a hardback copy of Morton's Cookbook and framed photo souvenir included in the price.
The class introduces Morton's official Father's Day menu featuring a choice of some of Morton's most popular salads, steaks, entrees and desserts on Sunday, June 16, priced at HKD748 at Morton's Hong Kong and MOP748 at Morton's Macau.*
Appetizer options are Caesar Salad with classic dressing or Centre Cut Iceberg, Morton's version of the 'Wedge' with chopped egg, tomato, bacon bits and blue cheese or thousand-island dressing.
Main course steak choices are Filet Mignon Single Cut with Béarnaise sauce, New York Strip Steak or Cajun Ribeye Steak - with a signature potato or vegetable side dish. Alternatives to steak are Broiled Salmon Filet or Chicken Christopher, both with beurre blanc sauce.
Completing the menu is a dessert choice of Carrot Cake or Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake.
Morton's of Chicago also serves its familiar a la carte menu of classic, hearty American fare and spectacular desserts in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere on Father's Day.
