The Australian Superfood Co

Congratulations to The Australian Superfood Co., winners of The Lion's Den challenge at the Fine Foods Australia Expo in Sydney this week.

Founder Hayley Blieden was selected to present at The Lion's Den at Fine Foods on Wednesday September 13th. This event offered an opportunity for new businesses and start-ups, including The Australian Superfood Co., to pitch their idea to industry experts, 'the Lions'.  Hayley spoke humbly about the last two years of the business, hurdles she'd overcome, future goals, partnerships with indigenous communities and the uniqueness of the brand.

The lineup of 'lions' included the Managing Directors of Unilever, Nestle and FIAL and Cerebos Chef Adam Moore. They selected Hayley as the Winner of Lions Den due to her entrepreneurship, work ethics, and the rapid growth of this unique Australian business.

As Winner of The Lions Den, Hayley will participate at the FSAA Understanding Foodservice program – a two-day program dedicated to analysing and deconstructing trends, dynamics, and other business elements of the food industry.

The Expo hosted over 1000 exhibitors and food experts, with over 20,000 participants walking through the doors of the Sydney International Convention Centre over the 4 days. Fine Foods provides a fabulous opportunity for industry suppliers to build relationships with industry partners.

The Australian Superfood Co. celebrates native Australian Superfoods - some of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. Through our unique range of dietitian created products that are gluten free, dairy free, vegan, and 100% natural, we aim to share these ancient superfoods with the world and promote prosperity and wellbeing in Indigenous communities.
