Melbourne�s Vue de monde has taken out the double award of Restaurant of the Year and Fine Dining Restaurant at the 2005 Restaurant & Catering Australia National Awards for Excellence, announced tonight (Monday 17 October) at a sold out gala dinner at Palladium at Crown in Melbourne.

Over 120 of Australia�s best restaurants, representing six states and two territories, waited with baited breath for the winners to be announced.

For the seventh consecutive year over 2,000 restaurants were visited by Australia�s largest team of judges.
