MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA — This April 2026, DOLLY at Le Méridien Melbourne will commemorate Jazz Appreciation Month by going bigger than ever with its much-loved live jazz dinner shows, with performances every week across the month and a headline finale in the form of The Grand Jazz Dinner Show.
Set beneath Bourke Street, DOLLY has established itself as one of Melbourne CBD's most in-demand destinations for live jazz after dark. The bustling underground European restaurant and late-night cocktail bar has made a ritual of pairing dinner, supper and sharp cocktails with a rotating line-up of some of the city's best jazz acts, drawing full rooms and a loyal following week after week.
At the centre of it all is Bordeaux-born, Michelin-trained Executive Chef Hervé Borghini, whose menu gives the evening real weight and polish. Guests might come for the band, but they stay for DOLLY's signature bistro classics such as Steak Frites, Confit Duck and the much-loved Flaming Bombe Alaska, with Champagne and caviar service and a curated wine list adding to the sense of occasion.
DOLLY first launched its Saturday live jazz dinner shows during Jazz Appreciation Month last year. What began as a special April celebration quickly grew into a recurring ritual, drawing packed rooms week after week and cementing live jazz as one of the venue's most in-demand nights.
For April 2026, DOLLY is partnering with The Night Creatures for a month-long programme of weekly performances from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. The schedule includes:
Saturday, 4 April 2026
The Night Creatures
Friday, 10 April 2026

The Grand Jazz Dinner Show
The month reaches its peak on Saturday, 25 April with The Grand Jazz Dinner Show, the biggest night of the series and one of the most anticipated events on DOLLY's calendar. Last year, the finale sold out and went on to become one of DOLLY's most popular events of the year.
This year's edition promises an even more elevated evening, with a five-piece band taking over the room for a one-night-only dinner-and-show experience beneath Bourke Street. Tickets are priced at just $82 per person, with the price including both show admission and a four-course dinner. For a Saturday night in Melbourne CBD, it is exceptional value, offering guests live music, atmosphere and a substantial meal in one booking.
Bookings are now open for the full April programme, with strong demand expected throughout the month and especially for The Grand Jazz Dinner Show.
