Tom Parker Creamery

Dessert cocktails are having a moment, and strawberries and cream might just be the perfect place to start. Tom Parker Creamery's Strawberries & Cream Caipirinha blends fresh strawberries, lime and cachaça with a splash of rich Jersey cream for a summer cocktail inspired by the classic dessert.

As dessert-inspired cocktails continue to trend in bars and home entertaining, Tom Parker Creamery is putting a seasonal spin on the movement with a Strawberries & Cream Caipirinha. The recipe takes the classic Brazilian cocktail and gives it a British summer twist, combining fresh strawberries, lime and cachaça with a splash of rich Jersey cream for a smooth, indulgent serve.

Strawberries & Cream Caipirinha Cocktail

Ingredients

2 large strawberries (sliced)

2 lime wedges (from lime cut into 8 wedges)

2 large mint leaves

2 teaspoons granulated sugar

2 ounces cachaça

Ice to top off the glass

Large glug of Strawberry & Cream Milk

Small strawberries with green tops (cut in half)

Method

  • Muddle the strawberries, lime wedges, mint leaves and sugar until the strawberries and limes are pretty well smashed.
  • Add the cachaça and pack in the ice to the rim, then top with a large glug of Strawberries & Cream Milk, to your desired taste.
  • Shake vigorously in the cocktail shaker for about 10 seconds, then pour it all back into the glass.
  • Make a slit in the bottom of the strawberry and slide it onto the rim of the glass, then serve.

Chocolate Martini

Tom Parker Creamery is turning chocolate milk into cocktail hour with a decadent Chocolate Martini, made using free-range British dairy and real chocolate flavour for a smooth, indulgent serve.

Ingredients:

40ml vodka

140ml Baileys Irish Cream

250ml Chocolate Milk

1 tbsp double cream to decorate the glasses

1-2 tbsp grated chocolate to decorate the glasses

Ice

Method:

  • To decorate the glasses, pour the cream into a small saucer and moisten the rim of your glasses by dipping them upside down into the cream.
  • In a separate saucer sprinkle the grated chocolate and again turn the glasses upside down and dip them into the grated chocolate, twisting them around so you get more chocolate on the rim. Put to one side while you make the cocktail.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway through with ice.
  • Add 125ml chocolate milk, 20ml of vodka and 70ml of Baileys. Shake it vigorously for 30 seconds until the liquid is nicely chilled.
  • Pour the Chocolate Martini into one of the decorated glasses.
  • Add a few more cubes of ice and add the remaining chocolate milk, vodka and Baileys. Again, shake the shaker vigorously until the liquid is nicely chilled and pour into the second glass.

Sit back and enjoy them – cheers!
