Accor, a global hospitality leader, continues to expand its presence in Indonesia with the signing of Mercure Solo.
Strategically located on Jalan Slamet Riyadi, Solo's main boulevard, Mercure Solo will offer convenient access to key attractions, shopping areas, and business districts. The hotel is also well connected to Purwosari Train Station and is approximately a 30-minute drive from Adisumarmo International Airport, ensuring ease of travel for both leisure and business guests.
Celebrating local culture through thoughtful design, every aspect of the hotel, from decorative details to its food and beverage experiences, will be curated to reflect the unique essence of Solo. Locally inspired, the property will feature 136 contemporary guestrooms, a restaurant and bar, swimming pool, spa, gym, seven meeting rooms, a ballroom, and a business centre, offering a well-rounded stay with a genuine and authentic connection to the destination.
“Solo is a destination celebrated for its cultural richness and distinctive identity, with growing interest from travellers seeking deeper connections to local culture. The signing of Mercure Solo responds to this demand while reinforcing Mercure's position as a brand that awakens curiosity and invites guests to discover each destination through a local lens. As we continue to grow our Mercure footprint in Indonesia, Mercure Solo reflects our focus on delivering meaningful connections to place, offering guests a hotel that captures the culture, energy, and spirit of Solo,” said Garth Simmons, Chief Operating Officer, Premium, Midscale & Economy Division for Accor in Asia.
Scheduled to open by the end of 2025, the hotel will serve as a gateway to Solo, inviting travellers to discover the local delights of one of Central Java's most culturally rich cities.
