The Valentine's Special Edition features a new label with the words 'I Love Harris Gin' and beautiful flecks of copper hearts in 24 unique patterns – alongside a bespoke gift card for customers to pen their own romantic message to loved ones, which will be handwritten with care by the distillery team.  

Launching Wednesday 29th January, the limited run of 70cl bottles will be released at £49.50 and available to purchase directly from the distillery website. For those lucky enough to visit in person, the bottles will also be available at the Isle of Harris Distillery shop in Tarbert from Monday 10th February, when the shop reopens for the season. 

Inspired by the island's romantic charm, the Isle of Harris Distillery has crafted the 'I Love Harris Gin' Valentine's Special Edition as a heartfelt celebration of its warm-hearted community. The island with its beautiful, expansive scenery and unspoilt beaches has become an iconic destination for romantic moments. A popular spot for marriage proposals on Luskentyre Beach and beyond, Harris continues to capture the hearts of couples from near and far.  

Distillery storyteller Lauren MacSween met her husband Pim on a blind date at the distillery, later saying yes to his proposal on the island itself, proving Harris is the perfect haven for romantic gestures.

The 'I Love Harris Gin' Valentines Special Edition bottle will be available to purchase from 10am on Wednesday, 29 January, online at www.harrisdistillery.com for £49.50. Orders must be placed by 7th February to guarantee delivery by Valentine's Day. To pay homage to the great Isle of Harris Distillery romance between brand storyteller Lauren MacSween and her husband, Pim Verhees—who met on a blind date at the distillery and later got engaged on the island itself—the distillery has created an exquisite cocktail, 'The Ballad of Lauren and Pim.' Blending citrus, floral, honey, and anise notes, this delicious take on the mimosa is the perfect drink to enjoy with your loved one this Valentine's Day.  

Ingredients 

• 40ml Isle of Harris Gin 

• 20ml mead 

• 20ml freshly squeezed tangerine juice 

• Sparkling orange wine 

• A dash of Absinthe 

• Orange peel to garnish  

Method: 

• Shake all ingredients, except the sparkling wine, and fine-strain over ice into a highball glass. 

• Top with sparkling wine, stir gently to mix.
