HANKS – Kirra

The southern Gold Coast has welcomed a new European-inspired restaurant, Hanks. Created by the team behind local favourite, Siblings, the inspiration for the sophisticated new restaurant was to bring a coastal European inspired venue to Kirra. The menu is designed to share, encompassing the team's ethos of 'the platter is the table'. Overlooking Kirra Beach, the expansive open windows allow the sea breeze to flow through, accentuating the restaurants relaxed seaside ambience.

LOBORN TASTING BAR – Tamborine

Whilst most amaro in Australia are imported from Italy, Loborn's founder sought to reinvent this classic aperitif with local Australian botanicals. His goal was to create a distinctly modern amaro that honours Italian tradition, striking a balance between tradition and innovation. Inspired by Tamborine Mountain, Loborn's team carefully selected native botanicals that enhance the classic bitter profile of amaro, resulting in a vibrant and rich spirit ideal for enhancing cocktails. Each batch is handcrafted on Tamborine Mountain. The Loborn Tasting Bar offers walk-in tastings, bottle sales, and an on-site cocktail service offering a range of classic amaro cocktails such as the negroni or the spritz.
