Hayley joins the ThinK Wine team from established north west alcoholic drinks wholesaler Hops & Barley, where she held the position of Head of Sales for almost four years, before leaving to start a family.
With over 20 years in the hotel and hospitality sector, predominantly working in F&B sales and spa, golf and leisure hotels, Hayley aims to leverage her extensive contacts within the industry to spread the word about the unique features of the ThinK Wine brand. She is tasked with driving forward an ambitious sales strategy that will exponentially grow the trade side of the business over the next five years.
Speaking of the latest appointment to her growing team, ThinK Wine founder, Kath Jones, said:
“We're very proud to welcome Hayley to the team.
“We have big plans to grow the trade side of our business, which has not been without challenges, especially for me as a female trying break through with a new brand in a predominately male industry. What spurs me on is that not only do I truly believe in our product and that palatable low calorie, low sugar options should be widely available on drinks menus, but once people try ThinK Wine, they are always won over by the taste and quality.
“Hayley has a real wealth of experience and is very well connected in the industry. Since trying our product, she has been one of our biggest cheerleaders, so we're excited to welcome her on board in an official capacity to help us really make our mark in the F&B market with hotel and hospitality venues across the UK.”
Talking of why she chose to join the ThinK Wine team, Hayley added:
“After years of drinking a glass of wine pretty much every evening after work, when I had my daughter, I suddenly found that I could not stand the smell or taste of alcohol! That is until the day I drank a glass of ThinKProsecco.
“I was blown away that a wine which tasted so good, could be low in sugar, sulphites and calories. It all sounds too good to be true but on this occasion, it isn't. A true sales person can sell anything, but it is so much easier and more enjoyable when you actually love and believe in the products.”
She continued: “The Prosecco and sparkling wine market is swamped with offerings that, let's face it, do not taste great. I have avoided anything sparkling for years now, as Proseccos were no good and Champagne would give me headaches. I don't have either problem with ThinK Wine.
“Having run four star and five star spa venues, I know there is a strong market for healthier, low calorie wines and a growing market for the vegan and organic offerings. I view this role as being more about educating the venues and outlets on what their customers value, rather than doing a hard sell.
“There is a wide range of medical research which suggests the high levels of sulphites and preservatives in wine are to blame for, some of, the associated headaches. ThinK Wine products simply don't have that effect. So, if you are relaxing with friends at a spa or you are sat in an airport lounge having a drink before boarding a long flight, ThinK really should be the obvious choice so you can enjoy yourself without the negative side effects.”

Notes to editors
Think Wine is a vegan, organic low-sugar, low-carb brand of prosecco and Pinot Grigio sparkling rose founded by wine entrepreneur Kath Jones. During her own personal battle with sugar, Kath realised there were no other palatable bubbly alternatives with reduced calories and reduced sugar on the market, that crucially didn't compromise on taste. And so, she set to work on creating one for herself.
Quality and taste are everything at ThinK Wine, the company uses only the highest quality Glera grapes from the Treviso region of Italy. Think Wine has the perfect blend of flavours to create palatable wines with a fresh and revitalising finish, despite all of the health-conscious benefits.
