Mr Fogg's Pawnbrokers, the adventurous cocktail bar on London's Dean Street, has launched LGBTQI+ fundraising for Trans In The City. Running until 5th July, a discretionary £1 will be added to every bill, which will go straight to the organisation which raises awareness for trans and non-binary people in business, shares best practices alongside training for those within the trans and non-binary community and the companies in which they work.
The bar will be highlighting its commitment to being a safe space in Soho, festooned with a floral display in the colours of the Pride Progress flag. On the Pride in London weekend, 29th and 30th June, Mr Fogg's Pawnbrokers will be offering drink in and takeaway cocktails, for the latter the price of each drink includes a donation to Trans In The City. The bar is designed as an ode to the Victorian pawnbrokers that were once dotted around Soho in the 19th century.
On the launch of this collaboration, General Manager of Mr Fogg's Pawnbrokers Lulu Smith notes “We are delighted to be supporting Trans In The City this year, as part of our ongoing commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community. We have witnessed the worldwide pressures on trans and non-binary people and through this activity we hope to raise vital funds, helping those within these communities to flourish and providing support for them in their workplaces.”

Right now, the trans and non-binary community are under such sustained, intense pressure and need support so badly, the amazing allyship from Mr Fogg's will allow us to help so many trans and non-binary people and their allies in these challenging times”
