About Wendy Narby: British Born Wendy has lived in Bordeaux for over 30 years. She is a leading Bordeaux wine educator, sharing her passion through writing, speaking and welcoming people to the wine region with the aim of dusting off its wrongful perception of being exclusive and unapproachable. She loves nothing more than introducing wine lovers to the people and the place beyond the products.

Narby blogs regularly on the Insider Tasting website, contributes to Decanter Magazine and has written two books: Bordeaux Bootcamp, an insider guide to Bordeaux basics, and The Drinking Woman's Diet: A Liver Friendly Lifestyle Guide.  The latter, published in 2018, was inspired by a wine tour guest, after a week of fabulous food and wine, asking Narby how she balances a life in wine with health.

The Drinking Woman's Diet is a light-hearted but practical look at how to maintain a healthy lifestyle without giving up fine wine and food, which then led to the creation of a course - '7 weeks to a liver friendly lifestyle'.

Now, with Wine and 2 Veg, Narby wants to not only showcase her beloved Bordeaux wines, and reinvigorate the region's reputation, but also offer her long-learned experience and advice on how to enjoy wine in a healthy way.

Narby is a certified yoga teacher and with her family, is currently renovating a ruined 16th century Château in the Entre Deux Mers, to welcome guests on wine and wellness retreats at the very heart of the Bordeaux vineyards.

About Sally Evans: British born Sally Evans, the co-creator of Wine and 2 Veg left her international corporate career and embarked on an inspiring journey of wine entrepreneurship in her fifties. With bold determination, she completed a wine diploma and then relocated to Bordeaux where she created Château George 7 an award-winning boutique winery.  Her wines have already earned numerous awards and critical acclaim from critics and publications such as Jane Anson, James Suckling, Decanter Magazine, Elle à Table, The Wine Advocate and Guide Hachette and are listed in Michelin starred restaurants and top venues across Europe and the US.

Sally's path to success has been a myriad of business and personal experiences, including a stint in Spain, running the kitchen at her family's Cotswolds Inn, an international corporate career and raising two sons. However, once her family had flown the nest, she craved a fresh challenge and her love for wine appreciation gradually transformed into the art of winemaking.

In 2020, Sally's vegetarian son joined her at the Bordeaux vineyard during lockdown. Taking charge of the kitchen her son transitioned Sally to a fully meat-free diet, with daily delectable plant-based meals, paired with her own creation, Château George 7. It was during this time that the concept of Wine and 2 Veg began. The first vintage of Château George 7 hit the market, and Sally enlisted the expertise of a chef to devise plant-based recipes that perfectly complemented her wines, challenging the conventional wisdom of pairing red meat with red wine.

Sally Evans, who is also herself a certified Bordeaux wine educator, is not just an accomplished winemaker; she is an inspirational speaker. Her story is a testament to repurposing professional experience, weaving together her passions and skills into a single, multi-faceted, and highly successful career today. Through her story, Sally aims to instil confidence in mid-life women contemplating their own paths, demonstrating that it's never too late to start anew.
