Founded 1969, the IWSC belongs to the most valued competitions in the international spirits industry. Kyrö Distillery Company has won prizes every year it's taken part in IWSC with this year being no exception.

Kyrö Malt rye malt whisky, alder smoked Kyrö Wood Smoke and, yet to be released, the peat smoked Kyrö Peat Smoke all received IWSC silver medals. Kyrö Peat Smoke will be released first later this year as a part of the Kyröfest festival held on the distillery premises on August 19th.

Whisky lovers in the UK are able to taste all products, including the yet to be released Kyrö Oloroso Malt which will be launched in September 2023.

Kyrö has been a consistently awarded whisky distillery in international competitions. Kyrö's products are admired and valued as a guarantee of quality and exceptional character globally. That character is based on the 100% Finnish rye malt all the whiskies are made of.

Kyrö Distillery Company has also been on the World's Most Admired Whiskies list for two consecutive years as the only whisky distillery on the Continental Europe. In 2022, Kyrö was on the 29th spot.

Kyrö Distillery Company was founded in 2012 and celebrated its ten-year anniversary last year. Kyrö has headquarters in Isokyrö, Helsinki, Berlin, and London. The distillery and its visitor center are located in Isokyrö, and the visitor center hosts 15,000 visitors annually.
