Key findings from their research, looking at data from over 2,500 hospitality venues across the UK from 1st Jan to 30th Jun 2022:
- Aperol has been the most ordered drinks brand in London this year. Unsurprisingly the sun coming out made it even more popular with sales x% higher in June than in January.
- The most ordered beer in London was also Italian, with Birra Moretti the most ordered beer brand on OrderPay
- The north of the country was less excited by Italian drinks, with Guiness taking the top spot
- Punters in Newcastle are most likely to get another round in, with the average orders per customer a third higher than anywhere in the south-east.
- Liverpool has the most generous customers, with 57.3% of customers leaving a tip through the app
- The Wimbledon fortnight saw higher Pimm's sales than any other period this year
