After their recent reopening following a profound refurbishment, Pumphouse Sydney is flaunting its new look by partnering with Darling Harbour's new pop-up roller rink, Rollerama from 25th March to 24th April. No matter your skating ability, Rollerama caters for everyone with their funky new rinks, one designed for beginners, families and young children and another for those who are ready to show off their experienced moves.
Guests will also have the opportunity to get a taste of Pumphouse Sydney's new Americana styled menu, exclusively put together for Rollerama as well as grabbing a drink at the pop-up shipping container styled bar on the forecourt, which offers a diverse range of beers which guests can sip on including Pumphouse's very own, Thunderbolt Strong Ale which was first created in the previous Pumphouse microbrewery. As well as the pop-up shipping container bar which will be available throughout the activation, on the first five days and last four days of Rollerama, guests will also be able to head to 'The Mr Black Bar', which will be offering espresso martinis on tap with a selection of flavours including, Salted Caramel Popcorn, Rum
and Coconut and Chocolate Chip Cookie.
Providing a trendy new take on skating, Rollerama offers skills training with experienced coaches, activities for children and families to enjoy, exhibition matches from the pros and DJs to keep the good vibes going into the night with themed music nights throughout the month, kicking off with DJ Charlie Villas playing on opening night. Rollerama's offering also includes a Skate Hire Shop where their friendly staff will help you find your boot size and provide you with somewhere to lock up your belongings.
Pumphouse Sydney's Head Chef, Anthony Kirk and his team have created a new enticing Americana-themed menu specifically for Rollerama which includes a remake of their iconic Pumphouse Burger plus Sticky BBQ Wings, the Pump Dawg and a Waffle Stack for the sweet tooth lovers. The team will also be serving up some delicious flavoured thick shakes such as Cookies and Cream, Vanilla Malt, Triple Chocolate and the classic American Peanut Butter and Jelly. Guests can order these tasty delights and have them delivered to their forecourt table with waiters and waitresses from the Malt Shop Rollers who will be on skates themselves serving during the peak hours throughout the week.
With the Pumphouse Sydney right next door, guests can also choose to enjoy the full standard food and beverage menu within the venue. Pumphouse Sydney's in-house menu was inspired by its rich history, incorporating fresh Australian produce and combining Aussie classics, grazing platters and gourmet seafood dishes.
Anthony Kirk commented, 'Following our latest reopening, Pumphouse Sydney is continuously looking for more ways families and friends can enjoy an afternoon or night out, especially after a long two years of isolation. This activation with Rollerama enables everyone to make the
most of getting outdoors and gives people a fun way to support the hospitality industry at the same time.”
Rollerama will be operating from 10am - 10pm, seven days a week. Times may change depending on peak periods/event schedule. Tickets can be purchased in this link with prices starting at $15 - $110 depending on how many people attending and skate hire.
Novotel Sydney Darling Square will also be offering a Skate and Stay deal with their Holiday Saver Package which includes overnight accommodation, parking at Wilson's Darling Square and breakfast for two at Pier St Grill. From $269.00 per room per night.
