ABOUT ROGUE

Rogue began in 2018 when Founder Asher Flowers began making jams inspired by classic cocktails from home.

Asher, 28, grew up South Wales before moving to London to study advertising and PR at university. Whilst studying he was also signed to model agencies in London, Milan, and New York, walking for prominent brands including Moschino and travelling, and eating, around the world. After graduating, Asher focused on his career in advertising, laying a foundation for his journey into entrepreneurship. Working and living in London on a starting salary took its toll and in 2017 he decided to go rogue, leave his job and move back to Wales to start his business.

After growing up making jams with his mum, Asher wanted to harness the vibrancy and energy of the brunches he feasted on whilst travelling around the world's most foodie cities, reimagining breakfast staples for a new generation of foodies.

Starting with just £350 in the bank, Asher tested his products at Cardiff famers' markets, secured business loans and investment and developed the range of disruptive products Rogue has become known for. Having rallied to secure funding, Asher is a keen champion of diversity in business and mentors other ethnically diverse founders into entrepreneurship.

Setting his sights on becoming the Ben & Jerry's of the breakfast world, Asher has big plans for the future of Rogue; already loved by Ocado shoppers, the launch to Waitrose and Getir marks an exciting new chapter for 2022, more breakfast products are to come in February 2022 and additional national listings are to follow in the Spring.
