Dreaming of an Alpine Escape? Let Moose Bring the Mountains to You

MOOSE

A magical alpine garden - complete with cable car gondola, twinkling lights and a bespoke cocktail menu - has sprung up in the heart of the City of London. 

Tucked inside a covered courtyard, hidden just a few steps from London's Liverpool Street Station, the pop-up winter escape is a collaboration between Drake & Morgan's Devonshire Terrace and the botanical spirit MOOSE, proudly made in the Austrian Alps. The perfect spot for after-work drinks, the garden looks particularly enchanting at night, strings of bulbs sparkling in the semi-darkness and the fresh scent of pine in the air. 

A truly immersive experience, visitors are greeted by a ski gondola - brought over from the French alpine resort of Morzine and lovingly restored in the UK. Step inside and you'll feel instantly transported to the slopes - it's also a perfect photo opportunity. Guests then make their way through an evergreen archway studded with fairy lights - under a neon sign reading 'Welcome to the mountains' - and are seated at outdoor tables set among winter foliage and potted pine trees. The terrace's heaters ensure everyone stays cosy, while faux-sheepskin rugs (made from recycled plastic bottles) add to the warm atmosphere - as well as the luxurious après-ski look. Each table is set with reusable MOOSE coasters and a cocktail menu. The garden will remain at Devonshire Terrace (Devonshire Square, London EC2M 4WY) until the end of February. 

MOOSE have created a one-off drinks list for the event, showcasing the botanical spirit's unique ability to make cocktails taste better. From a winter mojito to a raspberry and vanilla martini, there are plenty of choices for vegans - plus two chocolate-based options, including a zesty orange take on the espresso martini.

A good choice for conscious drinkers, every cocktail bought at the alpine garden will help combat deforestation, as MOOSE plant ten trees for each bottle sold - doing their bit to stop climate change and #savethesnow. MOOSE is also a healthier option - made using mountain botanicals and maple syrup, it's completely free from processed sugars.
