London-based eco-distillery 58 Gin has brought back its seasonal fresh Mulled Gin Cider to be enjoyed in time for cosy festive gatherings with friends and family.

Created using award-winning 58 London Dry Gin at its base, 58 Mulled Gin Cider simply contains the addition of fresh cider and warming spices including cinnamon, star anise, orange and nutmeg.

Eco-pouches of 58 Mulled Gin Cider (6% ABV) cost £10 from 58gin.com and contain four 250ml servings. When heated up to the recommended serving temperature of 60°C, 58 Mulled Gin Cider smells as good as it tastes, with its heady, spicy aroma. Once opened the cider will stay fresh for 48 hours.

Carmen O'Neal, Managing Director, 58 Gin says: “Spiced warming drinks are synonymous with Christmas, and we're delighted to once again bring back our Mulled Gin Cider as a delicious alternative to traditional mulled wine”.

“Apples and gin are a perfect flavour combination, the taste profiles work so well together and with the spices thrown in, this is a perfect all-natural winter warming treat you can enjoy while dancing to some Christmas jingles.”

58 Gin was the first distillery in the UK to pivot to hand sanitiser production in March 2020 when the pandemic hit, is behind the UK's first gin-based hard seltzers and is home to a beautiful gin school which has received Tripadviser's Traveller's Choice Award and is ranked #45 in Tripadviser's Things to Do in London listicle.

About 58 Gin

www.58gin.com

Incorporated in March 2016 and based in London's Haggerston, beneath the railway arches, 58 Gin's philosophy is to do everything from the heart.  Born out of a desire to demystify distillation, craft a sustainable neighbourhood business and to act and think responsibly, 58 Gin is a truly local, artisan brand.

Environmentally driven, 58 Gin's sustainable credentials are enviable.  The sloes in its English Berry Gin are foraged, its Apple & Hibiscus Gin uses 'wonky' Cox apples from Loddington Farm in Kent to fight against food waste and apples that 58 Gin is unable to use go back to James, the farmer to be used in his compost – a truly green full circle.  In addition, waste botanicals are used in Humble Crumble.

58 Gin's bottles are made with recycled glass and contain zero plastic and they feature a glass cork making them 100% recyclable. A British glass supplier is also used to reduce its carbon footprint.

In lockdown, 58 Gin made nothing but hand sanitiser for the NHS, key workers, care homes and hospices and it ensures that all its suppliers and staff share its heartfelt values.
