Electric Bear, an independent brewery in the South West has launched Bear Club; a monthly subscription of 12 curated beers, canned straight from the tank and delivered directly to guarantee freshness and quality. 

The monthly subscription will include exclusive access to Bear Cast; a podcast developed by the in-house, experienced brewers to describe the tasting notes on each beer within the box.

Available at £40 (including delivery), Bear Club subscribers can look forward to a variety of craft beers developed by the Bath-based, Electric Bear Brewery.

2x Werrrd! 4.2% American Pale Ale

An immensely crushable pale, brewed with the teams' favourite fruit-forward hops. Bright aromas of pink grapefruit, mango and orange rind follow through into the flavour that ends with a piney and zippy bitterness. 

Malts:  Pale, Wheat
Hops:  Centennial, Citra, Mosaic 

 

2x The Place Where Eve Goes To Sleep 4.8%

A malty roasty porter with a subtle hint of spice from the addition of rye malt.

Malts:  Biscuit, Chocolate, Crystal 240, Extra Pale, Oat Malt, Rye Malt, Torrified Wheat
Hops:  First Gold

 

2x Read Between The Lines 5.5% Hoppy Kolsch

A hoppy Kolsch has all the crisp refreshing characteristics of a German style Kolsch but with a healthy amount of mosaic and centennial hops added, giving this beer plenty of citrus and tropical flavours.

Malts: Pilsner Wheat Malt

Hops: Centennial, Mosaic, Strisselsplat

 

2x 5 Steps Forward 6 Steps Back 6.5% Belgian IPA

This Belgian IPA has a typical Belgian malty backbone and fermented warm using a Belgian yeast strain to produce fruity banana flavours. It is a hybrid IPA with all the tropical, citrusy flavours of an American IPA but with malty and banana flavour that are typical of a Belgian IPA.

Malts:  Pilsner, Vienna, Dextrin, Chit

Hops: Amarillo, Azacca, Bravo, Chinook, Ekuanot, Simcoe

 

1x Above The Clouds 6.2% IPA

A psychedelic and heady blend of American hops result in aromas of drippy sweet tangerines, gentle dank and pineapple. A restrained bitterness paired with a soft-as-a-cloud mouthfeel make this beer drink easier than mango juice!

Malts:  Pale, Cara Light, Wheat

Hops:  Summit, Citra, Chinook

 

1x 48 Hours & Counting 13% Vanilla Imperial Stout

Rather than the usual 'brewday' this brew was a two day long 'brewday' that involved mashing in and digging out several times to achieve a very small amount of wort that was very high in fermentable sugars. Fermented using two different yeast strains to produce a13% imperial stout that has finally been heavily dosed with Madagascan vanilla pods.

Malts: Pale, Munich, Crystal, Biscuit, Chocolate, Roast Barley, Oat Malt, Torrified Wheat, Honey, Dextrin
Hops: Willamette

 

1x Spellcheck 5.5% Voss Kveik IPA

Yeast known for its fruity esters, backed up by Summit & Citra Hops. Fermented at a higher temperature than our usual yeast strains to bring out the fruity esters typical of this farmhouse strain. Think tropical fruits, floral & juicy.

Malts: Extra Pale, Extrin, Naked Oats, Flaked Oats, Oat Malt, Vienna

Hops:  Azacca, Chinook, Citra

 

1 x I Bet That You Look Good On The Brew Floor 6.8% IPA
An Oat heavy grist bill really helps to fill this beer out giving it all the body you could want and then some more.  It'll have you throwing shapes on the brew floor in no time.

Malts: Extra Pale, Pilsner, Flaked Torrified Oats, Naked Oats

Hops: Azzaca, Amarillo, Citra, Comet, Sabro
