March 2021 – Clementine Com is proud to announce its new partnership with charity, Beder.
Beder is a charity committed to raising awareness around mental health and suicide prevention through exciting, unique and inspiring events and initiatives.
Razzak Mirjan and his family set up Beder in honour of his younger brother, Beder Mirjan, who sadly took his own life at the age of 18 in 2017. The charity intends to increase understanding and reduce fear around the topics of mental health and suicide in order to overcome the stigma surrounding these incredibly important, yet underestimated, issues.
Razzak was recently awarded a Point of Light award from the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, for his work to raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention through Beder and From Beder's Kitchen.
Clementine Com will launch a PR campaign to promote both the charity and its purpose, as well as its innovative cookbook From Beder's Kitchen, which is a collaborative effort of 90 figures throughout the culinary world. A collection of recipes from the likes of executive chefs at some of the UK's leading restaurants, well known TV chefs, food bloggers and nutritionists, the book features 90 contributors in all, who have donated recipes and shared their reflections on looking after their mental health. Among those involved are Gordon Ramsay, Yotam Ottolenghi, Romy Gill, Dishoom, Hawksmoor, Henry Dimbleby of LEON, Miles Kirby of Caravan, Michael Zee of Symmetry Breakfast, Fiona Beckett, Rosie Birkett, Judy Joo, Joudie Kalla and many more.
