Battersea's acclaimed Mondo Brewing Company is taking over the taps at Prairie Fire BBQ in White City on 29th and 30th August for a Bank Holiday weekend filled with the best combo – Kansas City BBQ and craft beer. Taking place on Prairie Fire's leafy new terrace, you can sip on eight outstanding Mondo beers, chow down on unrivalled low 'n slow smoked meats and enjoy live blue grass from the Lunch Special Band.

Welcoming all beer and BBQ fans, tickets are £15 per person and include a crisp, cool pint alongside hickory smoked wings and St Louis-style ribs. Mondo will be releasing four limited-edition seasonal beers and four options from their core range, all on draught. 

Limited Edition Special Releases include:

• Tone Float (ABV 6.2%) – A hazy, hoppy IPA with a grown up ABV.
• We've Got You (ABV 4.7%) – A fruited gose bursting with blueberries and Morello cherries. Proceeds from this beer go towards UK Hospitality's Covid-19 fund.
• Vacation (ABV 5.3%) – At a time when things are more staycation than vacation, we're bringing you all the tropical flavours associated with the Sabro hop.
• Black is Beautiful (ABV 10%) – Mondo's take on Weathered Soul's global collaboration focussed on raising awareness of the injustices people of colour face daily. This Imperial Stout is embellished with cacao nibs and espresso. Proceeds go towards The Black Curriculum.

Classics include:

• Machina (ABV 4.1%) – a crisp, refreshing lager designed by German Brewers with a Saphir dry hop.
• Dennis IPA (ABV 5.3%) – Mondo's flagship beer with a light citrus hop aroma balanced with plenty of malt character.
• Road Soda (ABV 4.8%) – A full bodied New England Pale Ale bursting with fruity aroma, while low to no bitterness allows the hop character to shine.
• Little Victories – (ABV 4.3%) A great session IPA with all the hop character and aroma expected from an old school IPA, but with a lower ABV. 

Punters can play rounds of Corn Hole, an American classic lawn game similar to horseshoes, where teams of one or two aim to toss bean bags into a wooden platform until a team reaches 21 points. A bag in the whole scores three points, while one on the platform scores one point. The perfect game to play with a round of beers.

A sunny Bank Holiday weekend is promising, given the great weather we've had but for any last-minute British showers, the takeover will take place inside Prairie Fire's restaurant and taproom. Full table service will be available so you can kick back with friends whilst enjoying London's best KC-style BBQ, craft beers and music.
