Plant-based foodies can get their fast-food burger fix at supermarket Aldi, with all the ingredients needed to whip up one of the chain's Original Recipe vegan burgers, available in store now. Don't worry if you haven't got those famous 11 herbs and spices, as just a handful of ingredients from Aldi will help you recreate this vegan delight in no time - you'd be clucking-crazy to miss out on these everyday amazing prices.

To construct your very own fake-away, start with Aldi's new Plant Menu Spicy No Chicken Burger (£1.79, pack of 2), created with soya and a vegan crunchy coating to give it some zing.  Next, sandwich your burger between a Seeded Dinner Roll and garnish with some crunchy Romaine Lettuce.

For the final touch, blend 125ml of Aldi's Unsweetened Almond Milk, 250ml Sunflower Oil, 2 tsp Organic Apple Cider Vinegar and ½ tsp Table Salt to create a 375ml jar of your very own vegan mayonnaise. To finish, lovingly coat your home-made burger in as little or as much of the sauce as your heart desires.

So, there you have it, a fakeaway that promises to be just as good as the real thing and suitable for vegans! With the burger tasting this good, you'll find yourself double chick-ing that it didn't arrive in a red and white striped box.

The Plant Menu Spicy No Chicken Burgers are available to buy in stores now!
