Progressive Lunch Arrives in Sydney to Celebrate Spring

Sam Prince Hospitality Group

Always serving daring and dynamic cuisine, The Sam Prince Hospitality Group, launches its latest event showcasing this season's best produce and indigenous ingredients. Three of Sydney's iconic restaurants serving modern fusion cuisine, are teaming up with top local producers just in time for Spring. Featuring Mejico, INDU and Kid Kyoto, the event continues the rich relationship between farmers and Sydney dining. For the first time ever, guests will enjoy three dining experiences in one afternoon this spring.

Spearheaded by culinary expert and chef Tawnya Bahr, this event makes for an exceptional dining experience. “The progressive long lunch will introduce distinct flavours, modern techniques and highlight the most diverse food seen in Sydney using both familiar produce and some rare ingredients too”.  Tawnya Bahr, alongside Sam Prince Group Executive Chef Amanda Fuller, ensure this event delivers a Spring menu to surprise and delight foodies.

Each unique dish, most featuring indigenous ingredients, has a story and connection to the land. The Sam Prince Hospitality Group has partnered with Yerrabingin, the Redfern based, community Indigenous rooftop farm founded by Clarence Slockee and Christian Hampson on a range of sourced ingredients. Other highlights of the menu include Pecora Dairy (NSW) who have pioneered the raw milk revolution with their raw milk sheep feta, Singing Magpie Produce (SA) with their sundried quince and figs and a world-first ingredient of Pamu deer milk sourced from the South Island of New Zealand, only very recently hitting the Australian market. The milk is produced by red deer from fifth-generation farmers, consuming a natural grass diet and are free to roam the farmland. An exciting culinary exploration awaits.
