InterContinental Hong Kong celebrates springtime and the month of May with its Rose de Mai Afternoon Tea collaboration with Chantecaille, which sets a luxurious standard in the world of modern, botanical skincare and cosmetics; with an obsession for flowers and their amazing natural abilities to heal and work in harmony with the body.

Rose de Mai, which is a unique and rare rose with strong healing power, is one of the major ingredients and also the heart of Chantecaille.

Inspired by Chantecaille's signature Rose de Mai in Grasse where Rose de Mai blooms just once a year during the month of May, Executive Chef Maxime Luvara and Executive Pastry Chef Christian Gonthier have created a selection of afternoon treats with French, floral and refreshing springtime ingredients and touches.

Rose de Mai

Rose de Mai blooms only once a year in May and covers the fields with its delicate flowers that are then harvested by hand at dawn on the field in Grasse, France. The flowers are then distilled in the purest water from artesian wells to produce a naturally healing, moisturising and uplifting Pure Rosewater, which is the base of all Chantecaille skincare, as well as one of the most extraordinary anti-aging secrets in the world. The Rose de Mai Collection is not only anti-aging, but also hydrating and uplifting.
