Harbourside, InterContinental Hong Kong's popular all-day restaurant, continues its “Taste of Asia” promotion with the Harbourside Weekday Lunch Buffet, paying tribute (every two months) to the culinary specialities from a different country in the region with authentic dishes from each country –including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, India and Vietnam.

From May 1 – June 28 (Monday – Friday) at the Harbourside Lunch Buffet, Chef Nicholas Chan presents “A Taste of Thailand” with an array of flavourful dishes from the Land of Smiles.

Often associated with strong flavours and spiciness, the true essence of Thai cuisine lies in the balance between five flavours: sour, sweet, salty, bitter, and spicy.

Harbourside Chef Nicholas Chan will be serving an array of popular Thai dishes with different regional influences, along with a rotating action station featuring either Thai-style Satays or Thai Basil Minced Pork and Prawn Rice Paper Rolls.

Thai Basil Minced Pork and Prawn Rice Paper Rolls
Rice paper rolls have become popular in the recent years as a healthy option for to deep-fried spring rolls. Enjoy Thai Basil Minced Pork and Prawn Rice Paper Rolls prepared à la minute at our Action Station.

Fried Snapper with Sweet and Spicy Salad
Chef Nicholas Chan and his team are creatively combining fried snapper to create a flavourful salad made with the popular Thai Sweet and Spicy sauce.

Lobster with Thai Green Curry
Chef Nicholas is preparing a Green Curry that provides a milder, less spicy option with a unique sweetness that pairs well with the lobster to create a delicious “umami” sensation.

Thai Green Papaya Salad (Som Tam)
Believe it or not, Som Tam often makes the list of the top 10 dishes in the world in international polls by CNN and Lonely Planet. Mastering the perfect balance between spicy and sour, Chef Nicholas is creating a memorable Som Tam that is sure to be a favourite starter for our “Taste of Thailand” Lunchtime Buffet experience.

Harbourside is open daily from 6:00am – 12:30am

LUNCH BUFFET

Indulge in freshly made sushi and sashimi and action stations that include a noodle/pasta bar and carving station with Australian Beef Striploin.

Monday – Friday (12 noon to 2:30pm): HK$488 per adult / HK$338 per child (ages 3-11)
Saturday (12 noon to 2:30pm): HK$548 per adult / HK$388 per child (ages 3-11) 
Public Holidays (12 noon to 2:30pm): HK$588 per adult / HK$408 per child (ages 3-11)

DINNER BUFFET
Enjoy abundant fresh seafood, foie gras, tempura and top quality Kagoshima Japanese beef.
Monday – Sunday (6:00pm to 10:00pm): HK$898 per adult / HK$628 per child (ages 3-11)

SUNDAY CHAMPAGNE BRUNCH
It's family affair, with one child (age 3-11) dining for free per every three paying guests. As you sip free-flowing Champagne and freshly pressed juices and Bloody Marys, the children will be entertained by 'close-up magic”, balloon twisting and glitter tattoos.
