TLM champions ethical sourcing, buying coffee from farmers that are dedicated to innovation though coffee processing and providing remuneration, education and a decent standard of living to their employees.

The Little Marionette's Coffee at TEDxSydney 2018
In early 2018, The Little Marionette travelled to a Southern state of India, Karnataka; the birth place of Indian coffee. 

We met with the local farmers, tried our hand at picking coffee cherries, all whilst sipping copious amounts of beautiful, rich, home-grown coffee. We discovered Mysore Nuggets Extra Bold; the highest grade of Indian washed Arabica coffee. 

Comprised of a few select estates, Mysore Nuggets is shade grown under the canopy of the Areca nut tree, allowing for a slower maturation and bean ripening. The estates produce multiple crops, providing an all year-round income for farmers. 

Our immersive experience gave us a greater understanding of Indian coffee culture, which is invaluable to our everyday coffee life.

TEDxSydney attendees can sample the end result from Tyler's trip to Karnataka in the TEDxSydney HUB at the Sydney International Convention Centre this Friday 15 June. The Little Marionette coffee will be available from 7am and throughout the day.
