A disruptive health drinks brand has proven chia seeds are more than just a fad, two years on from creating Europe's first chia seed based drink. The unique beverages from WOW combine nutritional cold-pressed fruits and vegetables with over 11g of chia seeds, a great source of antioxidants, fibre, iron and calcium. The drinks are now stocked in many major British retailers and extensively across Europe.  

Chia seeds also provide omega-3 fatty acids, usually found in fish. Research has found that, gram for gram, chia contains eight times more omega-3 than salmon. Positive benefits of omega-3 include reducing cholesterol and heart disease risk, as well as increasing skin, hair and nail health.
