Wild West Chicken and Salmon Jerky Now Available in Sainsbury's

Sainsbury's have launched (7th January 2018) Wild West Chicken and Salmon jerky nationwide to expand their meat snacks offering.  Wild West Jerky is now available in two new flavours: Wild West Fajita Spice Chicken Jerky and Wild West Sea Salt & Black Pepper Salmon Jerky, with the range bringing salmon jerky to the UK grocery environment for the first time. 

With Wild West being the UK's No.1* brand of jerky, these two new lines expand the range for the consumer and bring more choice for trying new jerky proteins.  The launch is being supported with in-store marketing, content and online marketing.

James Newitt, Managing Director, Meatsnacks Group Ltd comments 'With the launch of chicken and salmon jerky into Sainsbury's we are seeing the meat snacks category become mainstream within the grocers with a permanent postcode.  These new flavours are an exciting launch for us to bring our new branding and proteins to the mainstream consumer.'

The chicken jerky is made from 100% British Chicken Breast and slowly cooked and smoked over Applewood and the salmon jerky is made from Scottish farmed Atlantic Salmon and slowly cooked and smoked over beechwood.  Both the chicken and salmon jerky is handcrafted in the Highlands of Scotland.
