In a class of its own: InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort recognised as the 'Best of the Best' in region's Bride Choice awards

Australia, SYDNEY, 20 November 2017 – InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort has solidified its reputation as the region's number one wedding destination, recognised last week with a landmark four accolades in the Gold Coast & Hinterland Bride Choice Awards.

With InterContinental synonymous with weddings excellence and originality, the iconic Resort was further recognised as 'Number 1' in the categories for Weddings Chapel - Location and Wedding Venue Hotel 5 Star, with Weddings Executive David Carlo taking home Number 1 Wedding Planner - Venue – and, in the halo of weddings awards, the Best of the Best accolade which was secured with a record number of votes in the awards' tenure.

Over 1,290 brides and 737 businesses submitted their votes across 36 categories, affirming InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort as number one in its respective categories.
