The latest instalment of Club Zetter's food and destination trends talk focusses on Make Shift, the creators of Pop Brixton, Peckham Levels and Clarnico Quay. Joined in conversation by London's largest food and drink magazine Foodism, Clbu Zetter will ask how Make Shift transforms underused urban spaces to unlock opportunities for local people and independent businesses. James Leay (Make Shift) and Mike Gibson (Foodism) take a close look at destination happenings here in London, how they started and their future plans.

After graduating from Universite du Vin in 2000, Allazuen has held Head Sommelier position at a number of leading restaurants from around the world, including The Greenhouse, London and L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon, Hong Kong. The experienced wine expert has spent the past five years as Head Sommelier at South Place Hotel, and will be bringing his knowledge, passion and expertise to The Zetter for an immersive evening of wine tasting and discussion.
About SIP IT - Wine is perhaps amongst the first globally distributed products to celebrate origin and is often inspired and made by geography, nature and, of course, defined by its locale. So Club Zetter decided to start an evening where wine-lovers can join a discussion that captures influence, regions, techniques and those best kept secrets. 'Sip It' shares unique stories within a friendly environment.

The Zetter Group is owned by partners Michael Benyan, Mark Sainsbury & Jason Catifeoglou. Mark and Michael first joined forces to open the multi-award winning Moro restaurant in 1997. They reunited a few years later to buy an old five-storey warehouse in Clerkenwell and set about turning it into a destination for those looking for a hotel with style, comfort and personality but without the price tag. They opened their first venue, 59-room The Zetter Hotel in 2004 to wide acclaim.
