Botanic Gardens Restaurant

With winter well and truly here, one of Sydney’s most enchanting restaurants in the heart of the Royal Botanic Gardens has turned up its fireBplace, ready for guests to indulge in its famous winter roast and also a new winter dining experience.

Working off its food philosophy of curating its menu with fresh seasonal produce to ensure the best tasting dishes, Botanic Gardens Restaurant has launched its new The Winter Harvest dinner series. On the first Wednesday of every month, Head Chef, Matthew Fletcher will showcase a star ingredient through five courses, all paired with locally sourced wines.

Tis the season to eat Truffles! So what better way to kick off The Winter Harvest series by celebrating our favourite fungus friend, the Australian black truffle on Wednesday, July 26. On the night, guests will be treated to a delicious five course menu, with matched wines from Robert Oatley, while Emma Sainsbury, from Madame Truffles takes you on a culinary journey across Australia explaining how to hunt for the perfect truffle. Hear about the history, see, smell and experience the different aromas, and learn how and where they grow.

The Winter Harvest dinners are perfect for foodies wanting to indulge in a delicious meal while learning more about local produce; plus corporate or social groups looking to tantalise their taste buds for their next outing.

Adults can book the five-course truffle inspired menu, with matched wines for $150 per person.
