La dolce vita is all about good food, good wine and good company.

The first product launched by new lifestyle brand DELIVITA echoes this ethos and brings Italian food and style right into the garden, terrace or patio.

DELIVITA's flagship product, a beautiful handcrafted wood-fired oven was developed to inspire passion for wood-fired outdoor cooking and bring families and friends together to share fun, relaxed meals.

Its wood-fired oven aims to transport a taste of the Italian good life from the sun-soaked Mediterranean to gardens across the UK.  

Pizzas cook in just 90 seconds and meat, fish, vegetables and desserts such as brownies and meringues can be baked in the oven.

The shape of the 30kg fibreglass wood-fired oven originates from the size of a traditional pizza peel and retails at £950.

Joe Formisano and Olivia Robinson, who began designing the wood-fired oven last year, will officially launch the DELIVITA brand at this year's Ideal Home Show in March.

“Our heritage is Italian, so food and family are at the heart of every occasion, with pizza often playing a starring role,” explained Joe.

“While we cracked our perfect dough recipe long ago, we couldn't find the perfect oven.

“Conventional ovens and AGAs don't reach the right temperature while existing wood-fired ovens are generally too big, expensive and slow getting to temperature. We realised the world was missing something - a good quality artisan home pizza oven at an attainable price.”

Currently available in four stylish colours: Vintage Blue, Hale Grey, Olive Green and Very Black there are plans for custom colours in the future making DELIVITA wood-fired ovens the perfect centre piece to any garden.

Joe and Olivia now plan to develop the brand by adding accessories and dough, as well as offering the custom colours so customers can choose an oven to perfectly match their own distinctive style.

An oven stand and protective case is currently in the research and development stage and a range of pizza tools are being designed.

“We wanted a design that would adapt to our own lifestyle: fast, portable, stylish and social. We also wanted it to be hand-crafted in Yorkshire and - most importantly - simple and pleasurable to use,” explained Olivia.

“There are so many options when cooking with a wood-fired oven. The only limitation is one's imagination!”

Each oven comes with a supply of Harrington fuel, kindling and eco-friendly firelighters.

They will be exhibiting at the Ideal Home Show from March 24 to April 9 at Olympia in London and at Grand Designs Live from April 29 to May 7 at London's ExCel centre.
